START WITH YOUR PURPOSE

Choose what you want
to say and understand.

Learning a language takes regular practice. Begin with the basics, build confidence using it in everyday situations, and choose an exam only if it supports your course, work, or personal goal.

Exam requirements, versions, registration, and test availability can change. Confirm what your target institution requires with the official provider before you prepare or book.

Each pathway pairs a useful learning foundation with official exam information. Ask Young Heart to confirm whether classes or schedules are currently available.

BUILD THE FOUNDATIONS

Japanese

Start with hiragana and katakana, then grow your kanji recognition, everyday vocabulary, listening, and conversation skills. A steady routine of reading, listening, and speaking practice helps connect the different parts of the language.

JLPT · N5 TO N1

The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test has five levels, from N5 through N1. Check the official site for each level's language knowledge, reading, listening, overseas test locations, and sample materials.

TOPIK I & TOPIK II

TOPIK I is the beginner-level test; TOPIK II is for intermediate to advanced learners. The Korean government also lists TOPIK IBT and speaking options. Check current format and use with your chosen institution.

Chinese

Build a foundation in Pinyin and tones, then practice listening, speaking, useful vocabulary, and simplified characters. Use short daily exercises to recognize patterns and apply new words in context.

HSK · HSKK · YCT

HSK assesses Chinese proficiency; HSKK focuses on spoken Chinese, while YCT serves younger learners. HSK syllabus and formats are evolving, so check the official notices for the current test version before planning a study route.

A STEADY WAY TO LEARN

Small practice.
Lasting progress.

Keep your plan simple enough to return to each week.

01

Set a clear reason

Study for everyday communication, a future course, work, culture, or a proficiency exam.

02

Practice all week

Rotate vocabulary, listening, reading, writing, and speaking instead of cramming one skill.

03

Check your progress

Use official sample questions and notice which skills need more focused practice.

04

Confirm the requirement

Match your target level and test version to the published requirements of your institution.

Language guides and exam information are introductory. Young Heart's current language class availability, course format, and schedule should be confirmed directly before enrolling.
